Q Magazine is a music magazine which is published once a month in the UK. The magazine was founded by Mark Ellen and David Hepworth. It is published by Beuar Media Group. Q's current editor is Paul Rees, who used to be the editor of the UK edition of Kerrang!, which is also a magazine published by Beuar Media Group.
Q Magazine has many different sections to it such as a review section, a new releases section, a reissue section, film and live concert reviews, and radio and TV reviews. Q rate all these things in their reviews with a star rating from 1 star to 5. If an album or a film have been given a good Q rating they usually use it to advertise their album/film as Q say it is good.
Q also have a radio station and a TV channel. They are both very popular, the radio station was launched in 2008 and the TV channel was launched in 2000. The genre of music that Q presents in it's magazine and on their radio and TV channel is indie/rock/heavy
Q magazine is very popular and sells 80,000 copies a month.
